Bad Decisions

Ever made any? We all have and unfortunately it can have a snowball effect. Did you marry the wrong person and are now loaded with emotional, mental and financial debt? Did you have a baby out of wedlock and thought the guy would marry you, then he didn’t? The person you were once enamored with has now become a thorn in your side, because you, knowingly or unknowingly, stepped a head of God.

He or she had money, a nice car, looked good and had it going on in all the right places. Basically, they looked good on paper, but did they look good to God? God looks at the heart and will provide you with someone who has your best interest at heart. He will provide you with the Prince or Princess you need, when you need them.

Sometimes, we Christians get tired of being alone and decide to do God’s job and pick their own mate. Big mistake! Many have suffered long-range side effects after the relationship or marriage was over. Even worst, some carry their emotional baggage into a new relationship before figuring out what really went wrong and allowing God to heal and make them whole. Serial daters and those who have had multiple marriages tend to do this, conveniently forgetting they are the common denominator.

Many situations can be prevented if we simply waited on God instead of trying to do it ourselves. Waiting isn’t fun all the time, but it’s fundamental if we want God’s best for our future. #WaitonGod

Psalms 27:14

Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!

  1. This is so true. Waiting on the Lord for most things is not fun at all. But, God knows what is best and when it is best. And God is never, ever wrong.
