What is my purpose? This question plagues so many people today. And to be honest many of the people who don’t know become paralyzed because they don’t have the answer. If you fall into this category, you are not alone. You must first realize and accept that everyone and everything created by God has a purpose on this earth. That means you absolutely have a purpose and a reason why you were born and why you’re still here. God would never waste Himself or His time allowing you to enter in the earth without meaning or destiny.
Once you accept this fact, you need to understand how to discover what your purpose is. One of the things that you must do with regards to your purpose is become intentional. What do I mean? Purpose does not just fall in your lap. You must focus on it in order to realize what it is. Although it can be found in the things you enjoy, you must pursue the answers. Are you willing to pursue your purpose? Are you willing to do what it takes to find out what God’s will is for your life? Do you plan to spend your life wondering whether you will ever find your purpose?
Don’t fall into the trap of becoming envious of others because they are walking in their purpose and enjoying life. I am here to tell you that you have no reason to be envious or covet another person’s purpose. Your purpose is BIG! Your future is BRIGHT! It’s available to you but you have to pursue it. Make a decision today. In fact, make a decision right now that you are going to discover your purpose. No longer will you sit on the sidelines and observe others enjoy being fulfilled. It’s time for you participate in your own purpose. Get in the game!

I’ve been in a group reviewing ‘Pathways to Purpose’ by Katie Brazelton, and the first thing I shared with the group that I have always thought my purpose is simple — to know and follow Jesus. Jesus IS the journey…Everything falls into place once we KNOW and believe this with all of our hearts. Shalom, Susan
So true! Life is so mush easier when you discover your purpose. The Word says our purpose is to bring glory to God and to serve Him.
